Kalimnian House Folk Museum

"Kalymniko Spiti" (Kalymnian house) is an individual effort to preserve and promote the Kalymnian traditional way of life in the last century!

The traditional Kalymnian House is situated on your way to Agios Savvas monastery , at Vothini area.

Spending lots of time and resources , Mrs Faneromeni achieved to collect these items from all over the island of Kalymnos , to record stories , experiences , knowledge and present them in the very few sq. meters of her house.The aim was to create a living history of the traditionalhouse , significant daily activities ,social events and ofcourse the epical Kalymnian sponge diver
