The archaological site of Kyphanta, known to locals as Kastraki, is situated in Kyparissi, on the right at the top of a hill. It probably forms part of the acropolis of the ancient town of Kyphanta, referred to by Pausanias.
Today only the walls are visible, with a perimeter of about 300 metres.
