Kerame - Faros Beach

On the way to Faros, east of Therma, lies the beach of Kerame village.

It is one of the two beaches in Ikaria with the same name. The other is located on the north part of the island, near Evdilos.

Kerame beach has sand and pebbles and it is not organized.

It is a good choice for families, especially when there are strong northern winds.

The top side of the beach meets a small chapel, where in its yard, often fairs, weddings and many events are organised.

Access:

Access in Kerame beach is made only by private car, following a dirt road, a few meters from the main road to Faros. During the summer, the beach can be crowded and parking could be a problem.
