Agios Giorgis beach is located at the eastern end of the island.
It is relatively deserted beach and not well known to visitors.
In reality, there are two adjacent identical bays, separated by rocks.
There used to be a lighthouse in that cape, from which all the area took its name.
Access:
Access to Agios Giorgis beach is by feet following a path from the tower of Drakano.
Vehicles stop on a road leading to Faros. Then follow, on foot, a path to the beach for about 25 minutes.
Alternatively, one can rent a water taxi and reach the beach by sea.
