Modern Art Center

In 2000 the museum of Modern Greek Art acquired the use of the “Palaio Syssitio” (Old Almshouse) building as an exhibition hall. It is situated in Socrates Street, the main thoroughfare in the Medieval Town. From time to time, the Modern Art Center organizes exhibitions of works of art created by contemporary artists.

Operation Hours: Tuesday to Saturday 9.00 - 14.00

General Entrance: 3€ for visiting all three buildings

Reduced admission: 1€ for people over 65

Free entrance: Academics and teachers Youngsters up to 18
