Kokka, abandoned today, was one of the most important industrial zones for coaling steamships in Greece and a real source of money and life for the island. Today, the coal-yards and the houses of the workers which were built in the 19th century as well as the main dock of the bunkering station are deserted in the wear and tear of time.
