Taxiarches Church

On the stone paved central square of Goura you can see an impressive church dedicated to Archangel Gabriel and Archangel Michael. This church was founded in 1877 and its roof is covered with embedded wooden panels. Many old icons decorate the church, among which, an icon depicting the Assumption of Mary, dating back to 1718.

The church's annual celebration takes place on November 8th.
