This stone-built, three-storey home of the Notaras' family, in the shape of a ‘Π’, with the fortified entrance door, boasted such guests as king Otto and queen Amalia, during their visits to the area.
It is even claimed that Lord Byron was a guest there.
Unfortunately, the old mansion does not, in any way, bring to mind the past grandeur of the house, as it has almost fully collapsed.
