For more than ninety years, Kali Kardia, also known as “Bochoris”, the nickname of the owners, is a living tradition of Kimolos.
In the past it was usual for Greek villages to have a store operating as a coffee shop, restaurant, telephone room and a grocer shop at the same time. That's what “Kali Kardia” used to be.
Numerous feasts have taken place here, accompanied by the local musicians (one of them was the past owner, Nikos) or the old jukebox which, still exists here.
Apostolis and Yannis, the owners, succeeded their father Nickos and their mother Vaso, keeping up the family tradition.
From early in the morning 06:30 until midnight, Kali Kardia offers you: Breakfast, Coffee, A variety of “mezes” dishes to accompany your ouzo, tsipouro, wine or beer (grilled octopus is an excellent choice), Traditional sweets.
You can also buy cigarettes, water, refreshments, beers, spirits, ice creams.
