Water Spring of Zemeno

Down by the old school of Zemeno, near the edge of the ravine, hidden amongst plane trees, the stone carved spring of Katsavos stands proudly to this day. The spring is bordered by two stone benches on each side and has a large stone basin in the middle. The fresh water that flows clear down from the mountain top, invites the visitor to rest for a moment of refreshment. The water freely continues to flow in the ravine, watering the surrounding orchards and gardens.
