The museum of the Battle of Crete and the National Resistance is housed in a spacious room in a building in the city centre.
Among the exhibits of the museum are one thousand authentic photographs of the Battle of Crete and the National, around 200 books, monographs, studies on historical events from 1941 to 1945, hundreds of documents and various press publications. It also includes various war objects (arms, accessories, uniforms, items of everyday use etc.).
Some of the most important exhibits of the museum are the escutcheon of the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Crete and a plan of the section of the Maritime Museum of Crete dedicated to the Battle of Crete.
