The Military Museum of Chromonastiri is located in the traditional village of Chromonastiri, 11 km from Rethymnon.
The building that houses the museum is of special architectural interest as it is a Venetian villa of the 17th century. It was a country
house of a noble Venetian family named "Claudio".
