Folklore Museum of Spili

The Folklore Museum of Spili is located in Spili, a mountain village outside Rethymno.

The Folklore Museum was founded by the local Women's Association.

The museum is housed in a traditional village house. On the ground floor is exposed a traditional Cretan house which includes traditional bedrooms with embroidery, kitchen, loom, agricultural tools, traditional everyday objetcs, tools of showmaker etc. The second floor of the museum is available as a conference hall.
