Chemistry Museum

The chemistry Museum of Crete is located in the city center of Chania. The museuam is accommodated in the last floor of the building of General Chemical laboratory of State.

During the 2nd World War, the building was bombed, so many of the exhibits were lost and some were rescued from the ruins. Today, these are exposed in the museum.

In the Chemistry Museum, you can find numerous chemical instruments and appliances (chemical reagents , distillation apparatu), also a quite big library of infrequent special books.
