Aquarium of Kini

Some steps away from the statue of the Mermaid, in the central part of the beach, you will find the Aquarium of Kini. This aquarium was built to inform the visitors on the marine world of the Aegean Sea. An atmospheric labyrinth is built 20 m / 65.6 ft under sea level where you can admire living sea creatures, fish species and other marine organisms that live around the coasts of Syros.

The aquarium also houses the Museum of historical ships and boats, traditional fishing tools and marine organisms.
