Agios Ioannis church is in the center of the village. Its construction was completed in 1876. In the courtyard you can see the commemorative busts of Themistoklis Petrokokkinos and Gheorghios Veltsos, who have funded the construction of the church. In this church, precious liturgical vessels and holy icons dating from the 19th century are kept. The great adoration towards Agios Ioannis is due to the fact that the Saint has saved the village from a devastating plague.
The annual celebrations of the church are held on August 29th, with live music, singing and dancing.
