Agios Fanourios Church

During the past, the church was dedicated to Saint George.

However because of its position it was often inundated by water, the monks left the monastery and founded the St. George at a higher point.

Today it is dedicated to Saint Fanourios and helds the position of the artificial island in the lake Doxa.
