- Few Words about Telendos Island
  - The imposing mountain landscape of Telendos dominates the view across the west-northwest side of Kalymnos island. The island of Telendos has plenty of taverns and restaurants literally on the beach, several accommodation units, beaches for every taste and plenty of climbing fields to climb.
    
    Vehicles are banned from the island of Telendos. Source of inspiration is the profile of the "princess" that forms the ridge of Telendos and the breathtaking sunset.

- Land and History
  - In 554 AD after a powerful earthquake Telendos severed from Kalymnos.
    
    Currently, Telendos is less than 1 km from Myrties village and has frequent connection by caique (boats).
    
    The Byzantine settlement of Agios Konstantinos, the ruins of Basilica of St. Basil, early Christian baths and cemeteries are testimonies of the island’s rich history.
