During the summer, Folegandros is linked to Piraeus with fast ferries on a daily basis. The trip lasts between 3.5 and 4 hours. The ferries also call at: Sifnos, Milos, Thera (Santorini), Amorgos, Naxos, Paros and Syros.
With conventional ferries, the trip lasts for around 11 hours, depending on the route. Conventional ferries also call at: Kythnos, Serifos, Sifnos, Kimolos, Milos, Sikinos, Ios, Thera, Paros and Naxos.
Local boats connect Folegandros throughout the year to: Thera, Anafi, Thirassia, Ios, Sikonos, Naxos, Paros, Syros, Kythnos and Kea.
On the island
Buses connect Karavostassis port with Hora and Ano Meria. There are always buses meeting the ferries, irrespective of their arrival time. There is also a taxi, and agencies renting cars and motorcycles.
Tourist boats – Sea transport
Tourist boats leave Karavostassis and Aggali daily for the island’s southern beaches. A round trip of the island is organized when the weather is good.
