Chrysopigi is one of the eight churches that are considered to be monuments of particular architectural value and are protected by the Ministry of Culture.
Built towards the end of the 17th Century, it is one-aisled, flat-roofed basilica with a narthex, wood-crafted iconostasis and beautiful icons.
