Next to the home of the Spiliotopoulos family we find a two-storey house with a separate basement cellar; the house of Patriarch Gregorios V, who was hanged at the Holy Gate (Ωραία Πύλη) of Agia Sofia in Constantinople, on Palm Sunday, on 10 April 1821. Since 1992 the house has been converted into an ecclesiastic museum. Among the exhibits we find personal ecclesiastic objects that belonged to the Patriarch, the most important of which is the icon of Agios Georgios, which he himself had dedicated to Ai Giorgos of Platsa in 1808.
The renovation of the building was funded by the Aggelopoulos family.
