The mosque of Sultan Ibrahim (called Ibrahim Khan Mosque) is located in Fortezza, in the old town of Rethymnon.
The mosque was built by the Venetians (16th century) as a Cathedral of Saint Nicholas.
During the Ottoman occupation the cathedral was converted into an Ottoman mosque dedicated to Sultan Ibrahim.
The mosque stands on the oversized dome 11m in diameter. It has a square structure with a spherical dome and minaret. In the southeast side of the mosque is kept the prayer niche (mihrab).
Today the site is used as an exhibition space craft.
